Abstract Art is a kind of meditation for me.
I started abstract painting back in 2010. I find it as one of the positive ways to vent out my emotions and feelings. It guides me towards free and expressive painting. It teaches me how to work from within, drawing on my own feelings and artistic ability. It emphasizes originality and individual style which are the unmistakable foundations of all true and artistic expression.
I do not think or plan for any of my paintings. Whatever I am feeling at the moment – comes out on the canvas and I name the painting based on that feeling. Technique, composition and style are the painting elements that abstract painters use to build up their work and to depict thoughts, feelings or emotions.
Abstract Art is a kind of meditation for me. I do not paint a defined recognizable idea or something from reality. I have to invent everything for myself, from the shape and composition to the color and texture. My internal sources of feelings drive the spontaneous, intuitive painting process.
I feel that art should be something which can move you – you can either smile, or get disturbed or react weirdly. But it should move you. I feel that abstract painting needs to be advertised more and people should know about it. It is an out and out way for your feelings to exit, giving a colorful canvas at the end.
Have a beautiful day!
