As a child I first imagined being a paleontologist, the only career I was aware of at the time that studied nature’s ability to preserve. Aside from hopelessly digging, I also drew or created crafts whenever possible.
Being able to see a subject and capture it in one of my charcoal drawings is something I find enjoyable. The memories and the enjoyment that I get from seeing the finished drawing is what I hope to relay onto the people that view my work.
Veronica is a full-time artist and works with Galaxy, Artist-in-Residence Program and the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania where she teaches the basics of drawing and painting for various ages. Veronica also welcomes new students to study art in her studio.
